Under the Fat Bar

Damn it felt good to get back in the big bar again. I've been taking some serious time off heavy lifting recently. Just getting too banged up playing ball. Today I wanted to change that.

Wrist rehab with the finger web thing I found in the training office.

Standing press - worked up to triples from sets of 10. Finished 5x3 at 155 strict press

Deadlift - Worked up to a max single. Discovered the bar only holds 4 bumpers at a total of 405 but I managed to squeeze 2 10's on for a total of 425. Threw 2pairs of chains on for a set total of 505 at lock. Not too bad. Especially with a bad wrist, fat bar, and just recently recovered from a helluva nasty thigh bone bruise. I wanted to throw another pair on but thought it best to not push it so soon. It has been awhile.

Like I said. This seasons been a little rough.
